Action against garbage dumping at Lankagama, Sinharaja World Heritage Rainforest

නොවැම්බර් 2019 - සිංහරාජ ලෝක උරුම වැසි වනාන්තරයේ ලංකාගම පිවිසුම් ස්ථානයට නුදුරින් ගිං ගඟට යාබදව කුණු කසළ බැහැර කිරීම නැවැත්වීමට එම ස්ථානයේ විශාල දැන්වීම් පුවරුවක් සවිකර ඉන් පසුව කුණු කසළ ඉවත් කිරීමට පියවර ගන්නා ලදි. මේ සඳහා නෙළුව ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් සහ නෙළුව පොලීසියේ අනුමැතියත් සහයෝගයත් ලබා දීම සම්බන්ධව සිංහරාජය සහ ජල සම්පත සුරැකීමේ සංවිධානය ස්තූතිවන්ත වෙමු.

November 2019 - Installed a large notice board to stop the public from dumping garbage at Lankagama entrance in the southern sector of Sinharaja World Heritage Rainforest. A large Followed up with removing the garbage and cleaning up the site. Sinharaja Guardians wishes to Thank Neluwa Divisional Secretariat and Neluwa Police for their approval and support.

Action against timber racket in Dellawa rainforest / Sinharaja rainforest complex southern extension

February 2017 - Exposed a mobile timber racket in Dellawa rainforest - part of Sinharaja rainforest complex in its southern extension. Worked with authorities and law enforcement to stop further damage.
